After reading or watching The Polar Express, discuss the idea of believing in things that cannot be seen. This year in Northside our theme is WE BELIEVE. At Scobee, our theme is DARE TO DREAM. As a class, decide what you believe about your class this year. You may believe in something about your academic abilities, about your work skills, about your ability to solve problems as a team, etc. Add a comment to this page about what your class believes about themselves this year!! Please sign your class name to your comment.

"At one time, most of my friends could hear the bell. But as years passed, it fell silent for all of them. Even Sarah found, one Christmas, that she could no longer hear it’s sweet sound. Though I have grown old, the bell still rings for me. As it does for all who truly believe." From the movie, The Polar Express

Ms. Garcia's class believes that they can help each other by being nice, caring for each other, and working as a team in order to reach for the stars. We also believe that every student in the class is capable of passing the CDBs and TAKS in order to be promoted to the 6th grade. We believe that one day the entire class will go to college and be successful in life. We believe it is important to be supportive of each other even though we may not all be the best of friends.
